A NYC Taxi driver wrote: I arrived at the address and honked the horn. After waiting a few minutes I honked again. Since this was going to be my last ride of my shift I thought about just driving away, but instead I put the car in park and walked up to the door and knocked.

May this story serve as a reminder to say a nice word for our servicemen and for all those around us who we love.

For many of us, hindsight reveals how scary our youth was and surprises us how we weren't further harmed; for the rest of us, that's all the time we had.

I am thankful for a lot of things; here are a few of them.
